Jean Griffin was born in Waco, Texas, to the late Frank Eugene and Eva Bean Emery. In 1948, she married John Richard Griffin. Until her retirement, Jean worked as a lab technician at Providence Hospital and Waco Clinical Pathology Labs. Jean was a faithful member of Ridin' High Cowboy Church and had a passion for the Lord Jesus Christ as well as her loving family.
Jean was preceded in death by a sister.
Survivors include her husband of 66 years, John R. Griffin, of China Spring; sons, Glen Griffin and wife, Jan, Lynn Griffin and wife, Linda, and Mark Griffin and wife, Dahna, all of China Spring; daughters, Janice Pelton and husband, Harold, of Bellmead, and Joyce Epps and husband, Robert, of West; numerous grandchildren; sister, Mary Drake and husband, George, of California; other relatives and many friends.
