Leslie Hilburn Watts, 90, passed from this earth on May 1, 2011. Leslie was born Oct. 16, 1920, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, to Robert Drakeford and Elizabeth Larue (Hardin) Watts.
Leslie proudly served his country in the United States Navy during WWII. He had a great passion for woodworking, science, and mechanics. He received a Bachelors Degree in Engineering which enhanced his desire to create toys and other objects that would move.
He was preceded in death by his parents and several siblings.
Survivors include his loving wife of 61 years, Madge M. Watts; children Leslie R. Watts and wife Cheryl, Mark D. Watts, and Mary J. Mathias and husband Larry; and grandchildren Bethany Keeton, Mitchell Watts, Laura Walker, and Connor Watts.
