Dorothy was known for her canning and baking. She loved canning her own jams and jellies and baking pies and cobblers for her family's enjoyment. Above everything else Dorothy loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a wonderful mother that will be dearly missed.
Dorothy leaves behind her children: Lon Bayless (Shirley), Sherry Constable (Gary) and Scott Bayless (Malli), her 6 grandchildren and her 7 great grandchildren. Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Mac Bayless along with 8 siblings.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Franklin & Downs Funeral Home. A visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, May 27, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Franklin & Downs McHenry Chapel. A funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday, May 28 at 11:00 AM at Franklin & Downs McHenry Chapel.
