Lawrence Blickhan, 601 Cedar street, and Mrs. Sophia Cavanaugh, 1617 Vine street, were married Saturday afternoon by Reverend Father Brennan, in the parsonage of the St. Rose of Lima church. They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. John Upschulte. Mr. Blickhan is employed as a plumber, by the [E.] Best Plumbing company.

Lawrence Blickhan was born 12 October 1882 in Adams county Illinois. His parents were Henry and Elizabeth (Hermesmeyer) Blickhan.
On 22 July 1906, Lawrence Blickhan and Catherine Gredell were wed.
In 1924, Lawrence Blickhan and [Mrs.] Sophia Cavanagh were wed.
Lawrence Blickhan worked as a plumber. He belonged to the Plumbers' Local Union.
Lawrence Blickhan worshiped at St. Rose of Lima Catholic church. He was a member of that church and of its Holy Name Society.
Mr. Blickhan passed away at St. Joseph Hall. Both wives predeceased him. Catherine Blickhan passed away 15 May 1920. Sophia Blickhan passed away in September of 1959.
In addition, seven siblings, a son Eugene Blickhan, and three grandchildren, preceded Lawrence Blickhan in death.
St. Rose of Lima Catholic church was the site for the funeral, with interment at Calvary cemetery, in Quincy Illinois.
