Kevin Bodie age 51, of Stanwood, MI, on Nov. 29, 2014 began his journey to be with the Lord and his beloved family, his mother Gloria and his father Horace and a older brother James. Kevin spent his entire life in the local community. He was born July 25, 1963 in Yuma, AZ. He attended Morley Stanwood Schools and graduated in 1980. He attended Ferris State College and graduated with a degree. Kevin worked in the Medical/surgical area, emergency room and finally at the dialysis treatment center in Big Rapids. He then became affiliated with "Doctors with out Borders/American Medical Professionals Abroad" and traveled to Asia and Europe as a medical care worker until now. It was a satisfying experience which he enjoyed very much. Kevin was affiliated with the Stanwood Eagles, Aerie 4360 and served as their Secretary for quite some time and enjoyed the challenges the position presented. Kevin will be missed by his family and friends. Surviving are five brothers Robert (Susan) DeFoy of Stanwood, Ronald (Anita) Bodie of Stanwood, Horace & Norace Bodie of GA, Michael Bodie of Stanwood, three step brothers Robert & Roy Forbes of SC, Harold Forbes of MI; two sisters Mary (Robert) Fuller of Coral, Rebecca (Gene) Reynolds of Morley, and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
