Mrs. Dana was born Sept. 5, 1941, in Punxsutawney, a daughter of the late James and Ethelyn (Johnson) Wolfgang.
Mrs. Dana was preceded in death by her husband and eternal companion, Don Dana.
She was a 1960 graduate of Punxsutawney Area High School.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where she was very active. Janet traveled all over the United States, living in many different places. She lived for her family and friends and was always serving others. She was incredibly giving and kind.
Janet is survived by her children, Ed Gray and wife Nancy of Huntsville, Texas, Colleen Pidge and husband John of Show Low, Arizona, Doug Gray and wife Darla of Midway, Utah and Justin Gray and wife Angela of Riverton, Utah; step-daughters Ann Dana and Kristy Dana, both of Texas; brother James Wolfgang and wife Linda of College Station, Texas; sisters Almeda Bowers of Punxsutawney, Imogene VanDyke and husband James of Clawson, Michigan and Lois Williams and husband Jim of Corvalis, Montana; nineteen grandchildren; numerous step-children and step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Don, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Kelly Gray.
Interment will take place at Orem City Cemetery in Orem, Utah.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Dec. 10, 2014, at the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney.
