Edith B. Bridgers-age 92 of Maryville, passed away Friday, November 28, 2014, at Baptist Healthcare Center, Lenior City.

Preceded in death by her husband, Al Bridgers, daughter, Verla Johnson; granddaughter, Melinda Elizabeth Johnson; parents, Ulysses and Ella Raley Bridges; brothers, Charles, Clifton, A.T., Bill and James Bridges.

Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Cecil Thomas of Lenoir City; granddaughter, Amanda J. Denton and husband David L. Denton of Knoxville; great grandchildren, Zachariah, Joshua and Benjamin Denton; sisters, Evelyn Merriman of Maryville, Dorothy Brown of Tyrone, GA., several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of Windsor Gardens Assisted living and the Baptist Health Care Center for their loving and compassionate care.

Family and friends will meet 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Clarks Grove Cemetery for a graveside service and interment.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
