Delma Prather, 88, passed away on March 27, 2022, in Edgewood, NM.

Delma was born August 1, 1933, in Pedernal, NM to Henry and Nellie (Willis) Eshleman.

Delma was a lifetime resident of New Mexico and a member of the First Baptist Church in Estancia, NM.

Delma spent her life tending to the ranch that her parents built and passed on to her.

Delma was a strong and stubborn woman which allowed her to keep the ranch operable through many hard years.

Through all of her many difficulties, Delma never lost her sense of humor.
Delma never failed to care for her children and grandchildren with love regardless of what her difficulties may have been.

Delma's strong faith in Jesus kept her going and brought her joy no matter what life handed her. Delma will always be remembered for her strength and love for others. She will be greatly missed.

Delma was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jack Emery "Pecos" Prather, and son, Danny Jack Prather.

Delma is survived by her daughter, Judy Prather Bell, grandchildren Wyatt Bell and Lindsey Bell.

A viewing was held in Moriarty, NM, Funeral Service in Estancia, NM at the First Baptist Church Of Estancia with Pastor Jonathon D. Richard officiating. Burial followed in the Encino Cemetery in Encino, NM.

Pallbearers were Jayme Moore, Matthew Connell, Mark McKamey, Wyatt Bell, Jason Gilbert and Nick Griffin. Honorary pallbearers are all her friends and family.

Hanlon-Harris Mortuary of Moriarty, NM was entrusted with Delma's funeral arrangements.
