Hazel Littlejohn Chain, 88, of Amarillo, died Thursday, June 11, 1998.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Northridge Church of Christ, 1420 N. Seminole, with Glen Walton of High Plains Children's Home officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by BlackburnShaw Funeral Directors, Martin Road Chapel, 1505 Martin Road.

Mrs. Chain was born in Davidson, Okla., and had lived in Amarillo for 75 years. She was employed by Kids, Inc. and was manager of Caprock Club, Northeast Senior Citizens and Hilltop Senior Citizens. She was a Gold Star Mother and spokesperson for the United Way at Jan Werner Adult Day Care. She was a member of Northridge Church of Christ and a homemaker.

She married Dave_Littlejohn in 1927. He died in 1987. She married Claude_A._Chain in 1996.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Roberta M. Beard and Rosalie Littlejohn, both of Amarillo; two sons, George W. Littlejohn and Perry R. Littlejohn, both of Amarillo; a sister, Dorothy Hensley of California; 24 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren.

The family requests memorials be to Baptist St. Anthony's Hospice and Life Enrichment Center.
