In Loving Memory of Beatrice Mercedes Aragón, age 91, who passed peacefully into our Lord's hands on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Presbyterian Hospice in Albuquerque, NM.
Beatrice was a member of the San Clemente Catholic Church in Los Lunas, NM.
Beatrice was born in Cuervo, NM on April 14, 1923.
Beatrice grew up in Cuervo and attended school there. Beatrice lived in Santa Rosa, NM from 1963 until 1977 and in Los Lunas, NM until her passing.
Beatrice enjoyed her time with her large family and a beloved dog, Blue and a menagerie of farm cats. Beatrice loved making complicated puzzles, watching game shows and cooking.
Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents, Pablo and Guadalupe Maestas Salas, brothers, Reyes Salas, Margarito Salas and Ramón Salas, husband, Nicolas Pedro Argaón, son, Phillip Aragón, grandson, Matthew Baca, sons-in-law, Gilbert Flores, William Cline, Arthur Chávez Jr. and Isidro Baca.
Beatrice is survived by her eleven children, Joe Henry of La Loma, NM, Angie Baca of Amarillo, Texas, Ruth Cline of Los Lunas, Lenora Flores of Mesa, Arizona, Lucille (Victor) Baca of Santa Rosa, Pauline Aragón, Nick (Priscilla) Aragón, Madeline Aragón, Fay Aragón, Ray Aragón, all of Los Lunas, NM and Mary Chávez of Los Chávez, NM. Beatrice is also survived by two siblings, Flora Page and Andres Salas both of Albuquerque. Beatrice had 16 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 26 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
All services will be held at San Clemente Catholic Church in Los Lunas, on Friday, November 28, 2014 beginning with at Viewing at 8:30 a.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 9:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Los Lentes Cemetery. Pallbearers will be some of her grandchildren, Candice Aragón, Mayo Aragón, Nicolás Aragón, Vicente Baca, Jeremy Bridges and Joshua Chávez. Honorary Pallbearers are her other grandchildren, Rueben Aguilar, Ryan Aragón, April Baca, Samantha Cardenas, Miranda Chávez, Gilbert Flores Jr., Michael Flores, Nicole Gurulé, Darlene Kuroda, Kimberly Mershen and Connie Ramos.
