"ATHENS - Harold A. Frahm, 92, Athens, died Sunday, July 11, 2004, in the Palliative Care Unit at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.
Funeral services will be 11a.m. Wednesday at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Athens. The Rev. Kenneth A. Dix will officiate. Burial will be in Athens Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and again from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the time of services at the Athens funeral home.
He was born Feb. 3, 1912, in the town of Bern, son of the late George Sr. and Anna (Klein) Frahm. On July 21, 1946, he married Lillian Dawson in Milwaukee. She preceded him in death on Dec. 12, 1946.
Harold was a dairy farmer in the town of Bern until the time of his retirement. He enjoyed playing sheep head and hunting, but most special to him was visiting with family and friends.
Survivors include one daughter, Joanne Weiler, Stratford; three sons, Kenneth (Sybil) Frahm, Portland, Ore., Gerald Frahm, Stratford, and Rodney Frahm, Athens; six grandsons, Kevin Frahm, Jody Weiler, Jamie Weiler, Adam Frahm, Bradley Frahm and Ryan (Jessi) Frahm; two granddaughters, April (Jesse) Daul and Katherine Frahm; one great granddaughter, Alexia Daul; one sister, Dorothy (Leonard) Bonin, Calumet City, Ill.; four brothers, John (Florence) Frahm, Schofield, Leonard Frahm Sr., Athens, Marvin (Beverly) Frahm, Madison, and Rueben (Myrna) Frahm, Ringle.
Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Florabell Writz; and three brothers, George Jr., Orville and LeRoy Frahm."
