Services for Shirley Walton Willis Anderson age 92 of Grapeland will be at 10:00 A.M. Monday, December 1, 2014 at the First Baptist Church, Grapeland with Rev. Todd Nivens officiating. Burial will follow in Grapeland City Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster.
Mrs. Anderson died Tuesday at Winfield Nursing Center in Crockett. She was born March 13, 1922 in Grapeland to Gilbert Arthur and Sally May Kent Walton. Mrs. Anderson was an active member of the First Baptist Church. She was a homemaker, the mother of Bill Willis.
Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Cecil Anderson, a sister Marjorie Walton, brothers, Ralph Walton, Sr., and Arthur Walton.
Pallbearers will be Ralph Walton, Maurice Walton, Paul Walton, Garrett Coates, Than Richburg, and Henry Dailey. Honorary pallbearers will be David Walton and Neil Sheridan.
