Mr. Cummings was a native of Pryor, Okla. He lived in Kingsburg nine years, and previously lived in Manteca 40 years.
He was a heavy equipment operator and worked for Pacific Gas & Electric Co. for 25 years.
He enjoyed playing the fiddle, playing music and fishing.
He is survived by his companion, Darlene Miller of Kingsburg; daughter, Pam Allen of Clovis; brother, Tex Cummings of Oklahoma; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Cummings.
Visitation from 9 to 10 a.m. today at P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home, Manteca, with a chapel service at 10 a.m. Burial at Park View Cemetery, Manteca.
