TUSCALOOSA | Willie Rue Garner, age 75, of Tuscaloosa died Sept. 23, 2006 at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 2 p.m today, Sept. 26. 2006 at Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow In Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Survivors Include her husband, Olis Garner; daughters, Bonnie Sabbagh (Bob) and Debra (Billy) Lott; sons, Tony Englebert, Stan Garner (Nancy), Rodney Garner (Wanda) and Larry Garner (Holly); sister, Edna Oswalt; brother, Glenn Wyatt; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Garner was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will truly be missed by all. She had a love for beautiful flowers and being a homemaker and cooking meals for her family.
Pallbearers will be Ryan, Rodney, and Garth Sabbagh, Chad Englebert. Chad, Tyler and Reid Gamer, and Seth Shaul.
Honorary pallbearers are Evelyn Logan, Marie Garner, Betty and Carroll Payne, and 6th South at DCH.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hopewell Baptist Fund.
