We stayed busy this month. We start the month [which would have been July] off with a wiener roast and an Independence Day celebration. Thanks to Donna Carman for singing patriotic songs and to the Sayre Fire Department for being here and allowing us to shoot off fireworks.

The cooking class made chocolate-dipped fruit and we planted pansies this month. We celebrated the birthdays of Mary Simpson, Norvel West and Claude Branson with a birthday party. Our patients are all special to us. We enjoy doing what we can to enrich their lives.
