COEBURN, Va.-Ira Jacobs, Sr. 52, died in a Richlands hospital Tuesday morning after a short illness.
Survivors include his wife, Bertha Roman Jacobs; two daughters Mrs. Hazel James, Sandusky, O., and Miss Delores Jacobs, Coeburn; three grandchildren; five sisters, Tilda Jacobs, Coeburn, Mrs. L. H. Meade, Lebanon, Va., Mrs. Bill Anderson, Whitesburg, Tenn., Mrs. W. E. Bartley, Erwin, Tenn. and Mrs. Effie Dean of Newport News, Va.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Mary’s Chapel Church. The Rev. Ben Powers and the Rev. C. L. Kilgore will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery here. The body will be taken to the residence Wednesday afternoon from Estes Funeral Home
