Son of Mrs. and Mrs. Clyde Nelson of Shenandoah Dies Suddenly
Paul, the nine month old son of Mrs. and Mrs. Clyde Nelson of Shenandoah died yesterday morning at four o’clock. He had been afflicted with whooping cough for several weeks and it is thought measles set in causing his death. Paul was born July 6, 1914 in Shenandoah and besides his parents, he is survived by a sister, Darleen, five years of age.
The grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. M. M. McCue of Grant, and Mr. and Mrs. John Taylor of this city, went to Shenandoah yesterday. It is expected burial will be in the Villisca Cemetery.

The body of little Paul Nelson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Nelson of Shenandoah, who died last Friday morning from measles and the whooping sough, was brought to Villisca last Saturday and buried in the Villisca Cemetery. It was accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Nelson and Martin Nelson of Shenandoah, and Mr. and Mrs. M. M. McCue of Grant and Mr. and Mrs. John Taylor of this city who had gone to Shenandoah to attend the funeral services. The services were held at Shenandoah at ten o’clock, Saturday morning and Rev. E. S. Menoher of Villisca Methodist Church conducted the prayer service at the grave in this city, Saturday morning.
