Mike was born December 13, 1950 to the late Leo and Norma Alcorn of Arcola, IL. He was a member of the Illinois National Guard, and he founded Alcorn Industrial, Inc. in Indianapolis, IN in 1977, and he was elected president of the United Jaycees in 1986-87. He was an avid golfer and loved spending time with his grand kids. For many years he hosted a spectacular 4th of July fireworks display at his home.
Mike married Natalie Howell July 5, 2003. She survives.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Also surviving are sons Kaden Howell, New Palestine, IN, Eric (Paige) Alcorn of Zionsville, IN and daughter, Lori (Tony) Coulson of Zionsville, IN; three sisters, Susan Alcorn, Arcola, IL, Connie Alcorn, Arcola, IL and Terri (Kenny) Stanberry, Decatur, IL; three grand kids, Zoe Alcorn and Simon and Stella Coulson as well as several nieces and nephews.
