Suggested edit: Death of Mrs. Laura Parramore
Passed Away At Her Home in Boston, Georgia

Many friends here will be pained to learn of the death of Mrs. J.J. Parramore (nee Miss Laura Cone), which occurred last week at Boston, Ga.

Mrs. Parramore spent her school days in Starke, stopping with her aunt, Mrs. J.M. Johns and was married here February 5th, 1899 to Mr. Parramore, the late Judge Robert Keith performed the nuptial ceremony. News of her death will be received by her friends and former school mates with great sorrow.

The Boston Times says: Boston is this week saddened by the loss of one of its most beloved youg matrons. Mrs. Laura Cone Parramore, wife of J.J. Parramore and daughter of A.B. Cone, has entered into the great beyond. Mrs. Parramore was about 36 years old and was the only child of her parents. Besides her husband and father, she leaves two children, Duebell and Geneva.

Mrs. Parramore had been in failing health for almost a year and no efforts have been spared to restore her to health. Although her death was not wholly unexpected it had been hoped that the care of her physicians would restore her to health.

Throughout her illness she suffered uncomplainingly and was at all times watchful of the comfort of those who attended her. Her death as her life, was that of a Christian. Such a woman needs no eulogy; her life was an eulogy to the grave and after death her loving deeds and kindly words have left memories in every heart that loved her. She was a dutiful wife and loving mother and was possessed of all those qualities which go to make the obliging neighbor and kindly friend.

Her life was gentle and cast a radiance on the lives of those who knew her and there hangs a halo around her name that will outlast mortality. Mrs Parramore was for years a consistent member of the Baptist church and the funeral services conducted by Revs. J.M. Rushing and D.H. Parker were held in that church.

The bereaved family have the deepest sympathy of the community in their hour of sadness.
