Mattye Lee Turner Bullock went to be with the Lord on January 29, 2014. Mattye was born on April 14, 1926 in Laurel County. She married Charles Edward Bullock on June 11, 1948. She was preceded in death by her mother, Della Hodge Turner; father, Blaine Turner; sisters Ruby Marie (John) Bullock, Edith Turner, Mary Ellen (Ernest) Parker, Grace (John) Evans, Dessie Turner, Hallie Turner; and brother, James Richard (Mattie) Turner. Survivors include her husband, Charles Bullock; children, Eddie Bullock and Debbie Bullock-Hedges (Chuck); grandchildren, Mackenzie, Hillary, and Chase Bullock; and Reagan and Emily Mackey; and sister-in-law, Pauline Bullock. Other survivors include the women of her beloved Alathean Sunday School class, loving caregivers and special family friend, Jackie Martin. Mattye and Charles are members of First Baptist Church in London, KY. Funeral services for Mattye Bullock will be conducted on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in London with Dr. Terry Lester officiating. Entombment will follow at A.R. Dyche Memorial Park. The family will receive friends after 6:00 p.m. on Friday, January 31, 2014 at House-Rawlings Funeral Home.
