It is with great sadness that we announce Peter's sudden passing at his home in St. Thomas, Ontario on April 22, 2013 at the age of 73. Originally from Guelph, Ontario and a long-time resident of Cambridge, Ontario, Peter was a loving husband, a proud father, and supportive brother who passed away doing one of the things he loved the most: working on cars. Peter leaves behind his wife Marlene, his daughters Michelle and Julie Scott; his step-children Wendy McCleary, Larry Haywood, Debi Dickson, Peter Haywood, and Dana Haywood; his siblings, Linda Foubert-Scott, Paul Scott and Heather Kovacik; and his many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Peter was predeceased by his parents James Scott and Dorothy Scott (Harrison), his wife Shirley Scott (Haywood), and his sister Karen Scott. Friends are invited to visit with Peter's family at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street in Cambridge, Ontario, on Saturday, April 27, 2013 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A memorial service celebrating Peter's life will be held in the chapel at Coutts Funeral Home on Sunday April 28, 2013, at 2 pm.
