Frank Lee Canaday went home to be with the Lord on November 18, 2014. He was born to Frank Earl and June Canaday of Oklahoma City, OK on October 12, 1952.

On February 24, 1979 he married Peggy Brown Duke in Oklahoma City, OK. His ministry began in a coffee house ministry in Oklahoma City called New Life Coffee House where he helped youth that were drug addicts, abused teens, runaways and victims of human trafficking. He was associated with the coffee house from 1974-1977. He then became an associate pastor at Church of the New Life from 1977-1983.

For a brief time he lived in Chickasha, OK where he was a pastor of Emmanuel Faith Fellowship. He moved to Edmond, Oklahoma and left the ministry for a time and developed a consulting and IT Company that serviced several law firms in the Oklahoma City metro area. Frank was the Pastor for Bethel Church for the last 4 years and for the last two years was the Oklahoma State Director of the World Ministry Fellowship.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents Frank Earl and June Canaday, his beloved grandparents Ralph and Effie Patterson, and his sister Patricia Pate. He is survived by his wife Peggy of Edmond, OK, his daughter Samantha Knapp, her husband Eric and his beloved granddaughter Katelyn of Broken Arrow, OK. His nephew Michael Pate of Midwest City and Melissa Patterson of Midwest City and her children Shelby Swanson of Yukon and Victoria Swanson of Oklahoma City, as well as several other cousins.

Services will be held Friday November 21, 2014 at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
