Brenda was a daughter of Buzz, an opaline green cock, and Cream, a creamino hen. Little Brenda quickly won the hearts of her humans and bird friends alike. Though she was feisty and let her opinions be known, she was loved and respected by both species.

As a young bird, she learned to copy the sound of a computer game penguin and that became her favorite vocalization. She loved teasing her cagemate Ludo by pulling cage paper from wherever he was to wherever she happened to be. She was not particularly fond of toys, but she did enjoying looking at her mirror from time to time.

Her favorite foods were carrots, broccoli, oats, and crackers.

She died several hours after suffering a stroke at age 7 years, 10 months. She is very much missed by her budgie and human family.
