Born February 23, 1934, in Fredericksburg, Dottie was the youngest of 7.
She attended St Mary's Catholic School & moved to San Antonio & graduated from Brackenridge H.S.
In 1952 she married Cecil and they shared 56 wonderful years together.
She passed peacefully at her daughter's home after battling dementia for 5 years.
Dottie is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil, and is survived by her children, Cecil Robert Leihsing Jr; Kevin Leihsing & wife Stephanie and children Kyle, Travis & Miranda; Tim Leihsing & wife Joanie and children Mandee, Garrett & wife Kristin, children Jaden and Emma; Sandra & husband James C. Maddock and children Austin & Victoria.
Dottie was the most beautiful person inside and out. Her love and devotion to her family and her faith will live on forever. She loved her family, extended family and friends with all her heart.
Visitation Monday, November 24 at 6:00, rosary at 7:00 at Mission Park North. Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Helotes, Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at 9:30. Interment will follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
