Passed away Monday afternoon December 26, 2011 at the Life Care Center in Ocala, FL after a brief illness at the age of 91 years. Aleen was born January 15, 1920 in Saginaw, MI to the late David and Myrtle (Gardner) McLean and had resided in this area all of her life. On September 4, 1937 Aleen married Lewis L. Bowlsby; he predeceased her on July 24, 1994. Aleen is survived by three daughters; Barbara (Leonard) Joseph of Ocala, FL., Donna (Ken) Schwan of Gladwin, MI, Loretta (Marvin) Mosley of The Villages, FL., nine grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. Two sister-in-laws: Bertha Caverly of Hale, MI, Doris Gonzales of The Villages, FL and many nieces and nephews also survive Aleen.
Funeral and committal services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday January 4, 2012 at the Cunningham/Taylor Funeral Home, Freeland. Rev. Robert Mueller will officiate with burial to follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Freeland. Friends may call at the Cunningham/Taylor Funeral Home, 310 E. Washington St. Freeland on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
