Mrs. Blackerby was born Dec. 5, 1923, in Gainesville, Texas, to Amos Calvin Gustin and Lyddie Lillian White Gustin. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Benbrook and the Order of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her parents and two husbands, James E. Blackerby and Frank W. Davis, Jr.
