"Oh the warmth of Kinship" Claude William Loescher, age 83 years, of Vidor died Monday, Feb. 18, 2002 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Biloxi, Mississippi, he lived in Vidor for 18 years and was a retired chief material supervisor for Stone & Webster Engineering Co.
Funeral services are 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2002 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2002 at 6 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home in Vidor.
He is survived by his wife Cecilia Jane Loescher of Vidor; daughters, Sharon Schomaker of St. Louis, Missouri, Linda Buck of Orlando, Florida, Gail Fails of Orange, Texas and Laurie Gordon of Vidor, Texas sisters are Norma Kuhn, Agatha Beck and Adelaide Loescher all of Bakersfield, California; 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
