Kari Lynn Baker, 31, of Hewitt, Texas, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2006 at her residence. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m., Sunday, April 9, 2006, at the funeral home. A memorial service will be at 3 p.m., Monday, April 10, 2006, at OakCrest Funeral Home with Dr. Steve Sadler officiating. A private graveside service in Oakwood Cemetery will precede the memorial service.

Kari Lynn was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to James and Linda (Dodson) Dulin. Kari graduated from Waco Christian High School in 1993 and in 1994, she married Matt Baker in Waco. She graduated from Baylor University and received her Masters Degree from Dallas Baptist University. Kari was a teacher at Spring Valley Elementary and was an adjunct instructor at Tarleton State University. She was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church in Lorena.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kassidy.

Survivors include her daughters; parents; brother; grandparents, great-grandmother, aunts and uncles, and mother-and father-in-law.
