Mrs. Mabel O'Berry Dekle, 89, of Baptist Village Nursing Home, died Thursday, Sept. 8, 1994, at the nursing home.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, Sylvania. Burial will be at 12:30 p.m. in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Savannah.
Mrs. Dekle, a native of Lake Butler, Fla., was a homemaker. She had lived in Sylvania since 1959 and moved to Waycross in 1993. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Sylvania.
Survivors include her husband, Kirk P. Dekle; two daughters, Kathryn Reese, Sylvania, and Joyce McGahee, Midway; and three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Joseph Moore, Jason Stuart, Stephen Kania, Joseph Powell, Boykin Stuart, George Reese and James McGahee.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Virginia Sunday school class, the men's adult Sunday school class and deacons of First Baptist Church.
Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home, Sylvania, is in charge of arrangements.
