*William seems to have led a fairly quiet life in Framingham. We find no record of him in the military. His family did live through an earthquake that was felt up and down the Atlantic coast on Nov. 1755 magnitude of 8.

From 1754-1764 The French and Indian War swept the country. William was 68 by 1754 so we do not find him in the military. (*submitted by member# 106242972)
