Virginia J. Addam Brooks, 102, of Louisville passed away Monday November 17, 2014 at Treyton Oak Towers. She was born on January 26, 1912 in Louisville, Kentucky.

She was a member of Ralph Ave. Church of Christ and a longtime resident of Treyton Oak Towers.

She was the former Virginia Micou, and preceded in death by her husband, Ted Brooks, and her first husband J.L. Adams, Sr. her parents William T. Micou, Sr. and Georgia Davidson Micou, sister, Sarah Louise Rake, brother, W.T. "Bill" Micou Jr.

Survivors include her son, Jim Addams (Joyce), daughters Teddy Wonder, Phyllis Lundy, and Peggy Ritter. Her two granddaughters Susan Addams and Larissa Kiper, her great-granddaughter, Alexis Talley, and her brother, Freeman D. Micou.

Funeral service noon Friday with private burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be noon-7 pm Thursday and 10 am Friday until time of service. Published in THE COURIER-JOURNAL ,Nov. 19, 2014
