Services for Mrs. Mary Catherine Sunday, age 57, who died sunday, October 12, 2 p. m., at her home in Laurel Hill, were held Monday, at 2 p. m. at Dorcas, with Rev. A. J. Martin of Laurel Hill officiating. Burial in church cemetery, with Shepherd Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Sunday had been a resident of Laurel Hill many years, and she was a friend in need, very active in nursing and attending the sick and general welfare work.
Surviving are, daughters, Mrs. Jim Wickers, Bay Harbor Fla.; Mrs. Lewis White of Laurel Hill. Sons, Walker, Burrus and Curry of Laurel Hill and Ben of Port Washington.
Pallbearers were: J. Steele, R. J. Hart, Levy Day, Perry Cadenhead, Bill Welch and Hardy Davis.
