Roland J. Turner, aged 79, passed away at his home Monday evening after being in ill health for some time.
He is survived by his wife, Elzena, two sons, Carl of Liberty, and Ralph of Palermo, two daughters, Mrs. Vergie McDonald of Liberty and Mrs. Viola Fitch of Augusta also several grandchildren. Funeral services were held from the home Thursday afternoon with the Rev. Harold Nutter of Waldoboro officiating. Burial was at Hannan cemetery.
