Mrs. Henry Carr died at her home in Harveysburg at 11 a.m. on Sunday, November 15 (1903). The cause of her death was catarrah of the stomach, from which she had been a sufferer for several months. The funeral was held Monday, November 16 at 2:30 p.m. at Coopers Chapel and burial took place there. Reverend Vale of Perrysville preached the funeral sermon and a large number of friends and acquaintances were in attendance. Ellen McKee was born in Butler County, Ohio in 1851 and was the daughter of Eli and Margaret (Teegarden) McKee. She was the mother of 4, 3 of whom preceded her to the great beyond. A devoted husband and one son, Lora are left to mourn their loss and to whom the Star extends its sympathy.
