The Oklahoman, Tuesday, Nov 22, 1938:
Mrs Robert A. Harper, 75, 615 NW 25th St, a resident of Oklahoma City for 40 years, died of heart disease Monday night. In poor health for the last year, Mrs Harper collapsed suddenly at her home. A decade ago she was active in work of the First Presbyterian Church and of the Order of Eastern Star. Mrs Harper came here from Indiana with her husband, former circulation manager of the old Times-Journal, now retired. Other survivors are two sons, Robert W. Harper, of the home address; and W. F. Harper, Jackson, MS; and two daughters, Miss Vera Harper and Miss Frances Harper, of the home address. Funeral arrangements will be made by Guardian funeral home.
