Mildred F. “Millie” Stein, age 94, of Miamisburg, Ohio and formerly of Dayton, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2014.

Preceded in death by her parents; Gilbert and Carrie Broaddus; brothers, Paul Edward, Floyd Justin, and Glenn William Broaddus and sister, Katheryn Sanders.

Survived by husband of 74 years, Carl F. Stein; daughter, Sherry (Mark) Stein-Hill-Rosche of North Carolina; two grandchildren, Lara (Stephanie) Englishhill and Fredrick Hill; two great-grandchildren, Gianna and Alicia Hill; brother, Forrest Broaddus, of Dayton, Ohio; sister, Valarie Hawkins, of Florida; also survived by nieces; nephews; cousins; and friends.

Millie truly exemplifies the Christian ideals of selfless love and generosity for others. Those who knew her were touched by her friendliness, warmth and humor. She loved nature and was an accomplished artist and teacher of many mediums. Attended Wilmington and Dayton schools and Miami Jacobs College. A member of Grace United Methodist Church and Wedding Ring Sunday School Class for over 50 years. A member of Beta Sigma Phi and Phi Beta Psi Sororities.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420.
