Charles Board Ashley, 73, of North Port, Fla., formerly of Hopkinsville, Ky. and Nitro, passed away November 3, 2014.
Charles Ashley, son of Carl and Iris Ashley, is survived by his wife, Diane; and two sons, Charles Jr., of Elizabethtown, Ky., and Matthew, of North Port, Fla. He is also survived by three grandsons, Nicholas, Andrew and Matthew.
Charles Ashley was an Army veteran for his service during the Vietnam War. He worked as Vice President of Data Processing for Bank of America until his retirement in 1996. He also loved playing golf and listening to bluegrass music. He is greatly missed by his family and friends, but know that he is at peace.
His final resting place is at Sarasota National Cemetery in Sarasota, Fla. Farley Funeral Home in North Port is handling the arrangements. To send condolences please visit www.farleyfuneralhome.com.
