Surviving are his mother, two daughters, Nan Haggard and Brenda Thomas, one stepson, Lisle Veach, three sisters, Dorothy Sanders, Marilyn "Jo Ann" Perkins and Cleda Lee, five brothers, John Richard Jr., Marvin Joe Richard, Norman Richard, Raymond Richard and Charles Richard, nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Robert Richard.
