Sir William Spencer Kt, of Wormleighton & Althorp, Northants was the son of Sir John Spencer, Kt, of Snitterfield & Wormleighton and Isabel (Graunt). He married Susan, daughter of Sir Richard Knightley, of Fawsley, Northant. Susan was born before 1516.
