Rogersville - Madge Hickman Reeves, age 88, Rogersville, died Thursday, July 10, 1997, after a brief illness.

She was a member of Long Hollow Primitive Baptist Church, Rogersville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Hickman; and a grandson, Scottie Brooks.

She is survived by her husband, Frank E Reeves, Rogersville; a daughter and son-in-law, Minnie Jo and Dave Brooks, Rogersville; a granddaughter, Melissa E Brooks, Rogersville; a great-grandson, Joshua D Brooks, Rogersville; a brother, Luther Mauk, Surgoinsville; four stepdaughters, Glorie Ramey, Brnda Jenkins, Greta Cantrell, and Tracie Reeves, all of Kingsport; a stepson, Scottie Reeves, Kingsport; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Sunday at Long Hollow Primitive Baptist Church with Revs. Harold Head and Carson Johnson officiating. Interment followed in Highland Cemetery.

Arrangements were under direction of Colboch-Price Funeral Home, Rogersville.
