Husband of Martha Margaret Sharon - married 2 Jul 1943 in Grant Co., Indiana.

-------------------------------------------------

The death of a Marion factory worker Thursday evening at the Foster-Forbes Glass Co. plant was ruled accidental Friday by Grant County Coroner Dr. Jerry Tomlinson.

Dr. Tomlinson reported Friday that Herald G. Hamilton, 58, 1516 W. Second St., died of a depressed skull fracture suffered when the forklift-type machine he was operating tumbled over a five- foot-high ledge at the Marion glass plant. The ruling came after an autopsy was performed Friday.

Hamilton had been pinned beneath the machine when it apparently backed over a ledge near the east entrance to the glass plant about 6 p.m. Thursday. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Funeral services for Hamilton were held Monday at Diggs Funeral Home, 504 W. Third St., with Rev. John Bunch officiating. Burial was made in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
