William married Margaret C. "Maggie" Feeser, born in May 1879 in Pennsylvania, (Obituary, 1900 US Census) William was a builder day-laborer in 1900, born in April 1873, married about 1896 and he and Maggie were the parents of two children, but only one living, a daughter, Mary J. Kuhn born in December 1898 in Pennsylvania. Mary J. does not appear in the 1910 US Census. 1910 US Census states that William was a house painter, and they were married for 13 years, with four total children but only one living, listing Joseph A. Kuhn, age 7, born in Pennsylvania. William's obituary states that he had one son surviving him.

John Henry Kuhn born November 30, 1896 to Wm Kuhn and Margaret Feeser of Paradise, baptized on December 2, 1896 by Rev. Pius P. Hemler at Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church in Paradise Township, York County, Pennsylvania, sponsored by John Feeser and Caroline Kuhn. John Henry does not appear in the 1900 US Census.
