Rev. R.B. Beall Funeral Service Held Saturday
Funeral services for Rev. Richard B. Beall, 80, brother of Mrs. Sam Stewart and Mrs. George Reinking, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Memory Chapel, Hunter Funeral Home, Oklahoma City. Interment was at Rest Haven.
Rev. Beall, a former resident of the Alfalfa community who served as minister of the local Pentecostal Holiness church in 1929-30, died Thursday morning from pneumonia in an Oklahoma City hospital. He was a retired minister after serving as pastor of different churches the past 50 years.
He was born August 13, 1878, in Kansas. He moved to Oklahoma and married the former Miss Flora Grebe at Alfalfa in 1905. Three children were born to them. His wife preceded him in death 11 years ago and a daughter, Beulah, died February 4, 1958. He had made his home with his other daughter, Mrs. Esther Mathis, in Oklahoma City, since the death of his wife.
His survivors include the daughter and the son, Robert, Oklahoma City; four grandchildren; and the two sisters of Carnegie.
Attending the services were Mr. and Mrs. Freddie Reinking, Mrs. George Reinking, Mrs. Stewart, Mrs. Dale Repp and Mr. and Mrs. Will Grebe.
