Heather Bernice Bledsoe Bowers, age 38, of Dehart Road, Olive Hill, passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2014, at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington.

Born April 6, 1976, in Ashland, she is the daughter of Helen Bledsoe Barker of Olive Hill, and Carter Eugene Bledsoe, who passed away May 3, 2010.

Heather was a homemaker. She enjoyed listening to music and the outdoors, especially riding 4-wheelers.

In addition to her mother, Heather is survived by two sons, Corey Binion of Morehead, Fernando Kai Pavez of Portsmouth, OH., two daughters, Summer Cooper of Hernando, Miss., and Brittany Johnson of Lexington. Other survivors include one sister and five brothers, April Bledsoe Kidd, Eric Eugene Bledsoe, and Neil Barker, all of Olive Hill, Daniel Cecil Barker, Eugene Bledsoe, and Carter Paul Bledsoe, all of Grayson, nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

A celebration of life will begin at 4 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Aaron Mansfield officiating.
