Married 1st, (Apr.11,1839 Ashe Co., NC), Smith Ford, (1818- Bef.1850).

Married 2nd, (aft.1850), Joseph Harrison Lunsford, (Lunceford), (1832 - Dec.27, 1862 Guinea Station,, Virginia).

Died ca.1907-1909. Her last residence, (1900), was Beaverdam Twp., Watauga Co., NC., in home of granddaughter Amanda Jane (Lunceford) Keller, (1870/73 - 1943), wife of James Calvin Keller, (1873-1943). They were in same township 1910, but subsequently moved to nearby Johnson Co., TN.

The nearest cemeteries to place of residence 1900, containing relatives, would probably be the Squire Adams Cem., where her parents are buried, or the John Adams Cem., where her paternal grandparents were located until later moved to near Boone, both Cove Creek Twp., Watauga Co., NC. The latter contains graves with no identification, except field stones, which might be Esther's. A daughter, preceding Esther in death, is buried in the Ford-Greene Cem., near Boone, and a son was later buried there. But it seems unlikely they would have carried Esther so far, over 10 miles in days of probably poor roads, for internment.
