Mrs. EVA VIRGINIA (STARTZMAN) SNOOK, widow of the late Norman J Snook, died at her home, 1901 Virginia Ave, Thursday at 5:30 am of complications aged 82 years.

She was born and reared, and spent her entire life in the Halfway area. She was the daughter of the late Martin L. and Mary Elizabeth (Beckley) Startzman.

She was a life-long member of Williamsport Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church and of the organizations of the church. She was a member of the Auxiliary of the Halfway Fire Company and the Auxiliary of the Williamsport Ambulance Assoc.

She is survived by: daughters, Mrs. Mary Brill, Mrs. Geraldine Anderson, Mrs. Pearl Pratt, and Mrs. Floretta Coffman, all of Hagerstown; sons, Norman K., Middletown, Md; and Harry C., Hagerstown; 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Services Sunday at 2:30 pm at A. K. Coffman Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. William C. Huddle; burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
