Obituary

Richard Howard Doolittle was born June 12, 1912 on a farm three miles east and south of Story City and passed away suddenly Sunday, April 13, 1952, at the age of 35 years and 10 months.

He was baptized April 14, 1914 at the Grace Evangelical United Brethren church in Story City but had never united with the church. In January 1943, he entered into the Armed forces and served two years.

He was united in marriage to Thelma Christensen of Austin, Minnesota in June, 1945.

He leaves to mourn, his wife and parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Doolittle; three brothers, Harley of Pequot Lakes, Minnesota and Wesley and Martin of Story City; also six nieces and nephews.
