He is preceded in death by his wife Shirley May Naylor, his son Howard Barnes and four sisters and two brothers.
He was the youngest of seven children.
He is survived by loving family sons, Kenneth Barnes II (Mary), Wayne Barnes (Jenny), and Jeff Barnes, grandchildren, Naylor, Jacob, Jennifer, and great grandchildren, Sydney and Tripp, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He served in WWII as a B-29 pilot flying 27 missions.
He worked for the Dia-log Company for 21 years and was an independent owner/operator of K.A. Barnes Oil and Gas Operations for over 50 years.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Mission Burial Park South at 11AM.
