Mrs. Lavina J Carpenter
Mrs. Lavina J. Carpenter, widow of David C. Carpenter, died in Rome on Saturday in the 70th year of her age. She was afflicted with paralysis and had been in ill health for one and one half years. She is survived by two sons and one daughter, George Chauncey and Welcome Lawrence Carpenter and Mrs. George W. Murphy, all of Rome.

Services over the remains of Mrs. Lavina J. Carpenter, wife of the late David C. Carpenter, were conducted by Rev. P. H. Cole, at 2 p.m. today at the funeral parlors of the F. M. Orton Company. Interment was made in Wright Settlement Cemetery.
