Dolph Thompson Ellzey, 59, of Summit, died July 2, 2000 at his residence.

Services at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hartman Funeral Home of McComb. The Rev. Dick Root will officiate. Burial will be in Holmesville Cemetery.

Mr. Ellzey was born April 6, 1941, in Pike County. He was the son of Dolph Ellzey and Evelyn Brumfield Ellzey.

He was a retired meat inspector with the US Department of Agriculture. He was a Mason and an avid fisherman.

Mr. Ellzey was preceded in death by his parents and a half-brother, Clark Bennett.

Survivors include one nephew, Ben Parker of Summit.
